Angelique Kasmara is a writer, editor, translator and reviewer from Auckland. Her fiction has appeared in the New Zealand Listener, Newsroom, and the anthologies Ko Aotearoa Tātou | We Are New Zealand, and A Clear Dawn: New Asian Voices from Aotearoa. Her first novel Isobar Precinct (The Cuba Press 2021) was the winner of the 2017 Sir James Wallace Prize for Creative Writing, and finalist for both the 2019 Michael Gifkins Prize and the 2022 Ngaio Marsh Awards.
